Mama Gaia ~ Mother Earth.

I laugh about talking to plants B/C I can imagine how weird that may look to any outsider looking in on my experience who is not aware of the consciousness of plants.

I get it...It’s not every day you meet someone who says a prayer to earth and lifts the joint to her third eye & over her heart center before lighting it.

I’ve been peering into some communities in the Tri-State & observing the language used when talking about the smoking of cannabis. In my honest heart, I feel “Ready to smoke some weed?” & “Ready to pray with plant medicine” hold two different worlds of meaning.

Although I release judgement of those who USE the plant versus those who CONNECT w/ the plant and can coexist in a room with them from time to time, I’m still mindful about how much time I spend w/ users versus connectors.

Over years of unlearning, my third eye awakened to some key points in the history behind this sacred plant— like the word “marijuana” being invented specifically for the purpose of criminalizing the plant.

Ever since I’ve made more conscious choices in the words I use— Such as referring to the plant as ‘cannabis’ rather than its demonized name.

It’s difficult not to raise awareness when I find myself in situations where I’m lighting up with users— but I’ve learned to simmer down my interjections (as a Warrior defender of Earth 🤣) so to allow Mama Gaia to be the teacher for her children when it comes to plant medicine. 😅

I let her speak through me as much as she’ll allow but the truth is— Users of the medicine typically learn their lessons through paranoia, overstimulation or getting ‘stuck’ until the curiosity rises within ~them~ to learn why & how.

My favorites are the ones who ASK “What are you doing? I’ve never seen anyone do that. Why do you do that?” That opens the gate for me to offer a reflection of truth.

I prefer this over interjecting b/c I do not have an obligation to be a 24/7 vessel for Karma on this life path. My duty is REFLECTING truth so it is received— not penalizing the latter.

SO when I’m talking to a plant, leave me be B/C I’m channeling these messages for y’all & all of humanity
